Scripture's Purpose is a Bible verse memorization app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Your verse tables, settings, and progress are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you create an account.
If you create an account, your email address and verse tables are stored securely using Firebase Authentication and Firestore. Your password is encrypted by Firebase — we cannot see it. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile name and photo.
When you post a verse pack to the marketplace, your display name and profile photo (if signed in with Google) are visible to other users. Comments you post are public with your display name.
We use Google Analytics to understand how the app is used (page views, session duration, device type). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it is not linked to your account. We also track basic site statistics (total views, sessions) internally to monitor growth.
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Google settings. We filter for family-friendly, Christian-appropriate ad categories.
To delete your account data, sign out and clear your browser data. Your verse packs posted to the marketplace remain until you delete them. Contact thispurposeministries@gmail.com to request full account deletion.
This app is designed for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
